I made the 1 1/2 hour commute out to Llano, Tx to see the Eagle nest that has been there for about 6 or 7 years. It is truly amazing to see these majestic birds in the wild.
This was shot with an old 600-1000mm manual focus lens. I shot some other photos using a Canon EF 300mm F4 L lens stacked on top of a Canon EF 1.4x II Extender. Those are located on my Flickr photostream.
Awesome! Photograph!I will be in this area on March 1st specifically to see bald eagles. Can you tell me where the Llano nest is? My first outing to see them. Thanks – Cathy
